The appointment book for barbers who run their own chair
Your day is a stack of 30-minute cuts and a handful of regulars who come every other Friday. Solo Scheduling keeps that stack straight, repeats the regulars on its own, and tells you what the week is worth.
Sound familiar?
You have a line of three, a kid in the chair, and a regular at the door asking if you can do his son at 4:30 on Saturday. You say sure. Saturday at 4:20, your daughter's game starts across town, and you are the one with the car.
Barbers get booked in the gaps between cuts, out loud, with clippers running. Solo is built for that: tap the name, tap the time, done. And because it shows the family calendar under the appointment, Saturday at 4:30 would have shown the game before you said sure.
Set up in two minutes
Pick “Barber” during setup and Solo starts you with the services barbers actually book. Rename them, change the lengths, set your prices, and you are done.
- Haircut 30 min
- Haircut & Style 45 min
Add the extras you sell as priced add-ons, such as Beard trim, Hot towel shave, or Line up. Appointment titles start with “Cut” so they are easy to spot in any calendar.
How Solo fits your week

Thirty cuts at $35 and eight beard trims at $15 is $1,170, and This Week says so before you pick up the clippers on Monday.

Say a cut is $35, cut and style is $45, and a beard trim adds $15. A full week of thirty cuts, six cut-and-styles, and ten beard trims shows up on This Week as 36 appointments and $1,470 as soon as it is booked.
Insights shows the year by week and your top clients by visits, which for a barber is the list of guys who have been coming every two weeks for three years. Solo Pro adds a four-week forecast, which is mostly those guys, and all-time totals.
What Solo doesn't do
Solo doesn't take payments, send reminder texts, or give clients a booking link. It doesn't handle walk-in queues or multiple chairs. If you need a booking page, Booksy and Squire are built for barbers, and they charge like it.
If you are one barber with one chair who books by text, DM, and word of mouth, and wants a book that is as fast as you are, that is what Solo is for.

Questions from barbers
- Can I handle walk-ins?
- Book them on the spot in a few taps, or don't book them at all and just cut. Solo tracks what you put in it. Some barbers book everything for the revenue numbers, some only book appointments.
- Can regulars book themselves online?
- No. Solo is your book. Set the regular to repeat every two weeks and he is booked until he tells you otherwise.
- Does it work with my shop's shared calendar?
- If the shop uses a shared Google or iCloud calendar and you have write access, pick it during setup and use a prefix like your name so Solo only reads your appointments.
- What about kids' cuts at a different price?
- Add a Kids Cut service with its own duration and price, or set a custom price on the appointment.
- What does it cost?
- Free for up to 3 active clients. Solo Pro is $7 a month or $70 a year for unlimited clients, all-time insights, and the cash flow forecast.
