The session book for trainers who work for themselves

Your clients train at 6am, at lunch, and after work, on the same days every week, until they don't. Solo Scheduling keeps the standing sessions standing, makes the reschedules quick, and shows you what the month is worth.

Sound familiar?

Your 6:00 is on the rower. Your phone lights up: a lunch client needs to move Wednesday to Thursday, and a new referral wants to start next week, “any evening”. You say Thursday at noon is fine and Tuesday at 6pm works for the new one.

Tuesday at 6pm is the parent-teacher conference. It was on the family calendar. Solo shows that calendar in the slot while you are booking, so you offer Monday instead and nobody has to apologize later.

Set up in two minutes

Pick “Fitness Trainer” during setup and Solo starts you with the services personal trainers actually book. Rename them, change the lengths, set your prices, and you are done.

  • 30min 30 min
  • 60min 60 min

Add the extras you sell as priced add-ons, such as Assessment, Program design, or Nutrition check-in. Appointment titles start with “Training” so they are easy to spot in any calendar.

How Solo fits your week

Appointment scheduling

30 and 60-minute sessions, and clients who train Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 7 repeat weekly without re-booking. Move one session or the whole series when life changes.

Revenue tracking

Twenty-two sessions at $75 is $1,650 this week. Insights shows the year's curve, which for most trainers starts high in January and tells the truth by March.

Client notes

Keep the “left knee, no deep lunges” note and last session's numbers with the client, dated, so the next session starts where the last one stopped.

Family calendar

See the conference, the recital, and the dentist in the evening slots before you offer them to a client.

Know your numbers

Say a 60-minute session is $75 and a 30 is $45. A week with eighteen 60s and six 30s shows up on This Week as 24 sessions and $1,620, and it is mostly the same week every week because your clients repeat.

That is what makes the forecast useful for trainers. Solo Pro projects the next four weeks from what is booked, including every standing session, so you know in the first week of the month whether the month is covered or whether it is time to follow up with the three people who went quiet.

What Solo doesn't do

Solo doesn't sell packages, track sessions remaining on a prepaid block, take payments, or send reminders. It doesn't do workout programming or client check-ins. If you want packages and payments in one app, Trainerize and Mindbody do that, with a price to match.

If you are one trainer who books by text, trains people on a standing schedule, and wants to know what the month looks like without a spreadsheet, Solo fits.

Questions from personal trainers

Can I track a client's prepaid package of sessions?
Not directly. Solo books and counts sessions. Note the package size and start date in the client's notes and compare with their visit count.
Can I book small group sessions?
Solo books one client per appointment. For a group, book it under one client's name or a group name and set the price to the total.
Does it work if I train at two gyms?
Yes. Keep both gyms on the same calendar and Solo keeps one schedule and one set of numbers.
Can clients book sessions themselves?
No. Solo is your book. Set standing clients to repeat weekly and most of your booking is already done.
What does it cost?
Free for up to 3 active clients. Solo Pro is $7 a month or $70 a year for unlimited clients, all-time insights, and the cash flow forecast.
